- Transport and automotive: driving, cars, Salik, parking, metro, buses and taxis
- Travel and tourism: attractions, hotels, holidays, day trips and things to do in all seven emirates
- Food and dining: restaurants, cafés, local cuisine and food festivals
- Health and wellness: hospitals, clinics, insurance, fitness and wellbeing
- Education: schools, universities, courses and school holidays
- Lifestyle, shopping and events: malls, seasonal sales, events, culture and traditions
- Technology and telecoms: apps, mobile plans, internet and digital services

If your topic isn’t listed but is clearly related to the UAE, feel free to pitch it.
What we look for
- Original content only. The article must be 100% original, not published anywhere else, and not spun or rewritten from other websites.
- Useful and accurate. Practical, step-by-step or explanatory content that helps UAE residents, with facts checked against official sources such as u.ae, ministries, RTA or the relevant bank.
- Real UAE knowledge. Written by someone with genuine experience or expertise in the topic.
- Length. Usually 1,200 words or more, depending on the topic.
- Clear structure. Short paragraphs, clear headings, and tables or lists where they help.
- Sources named. Official or trusted sources cited for facts, numbers and dates.
- Neutral tone. Helpful and informative, not a sales pitch.
Links in guest posts
- Up to 1 relevant link to your website or a related resource, placed naturally in the content or author bio
- Links must lead to safe, relevant, good-quality websites
- We may add internal links to our own guides and adjust links during editing
- Sponsored or paid posts, if accepted, will be clearly labelled
What we don’t accept
- Casino, gambling, betting, adult, CBD, crypto trading schemes, loan sharks or other restricted topics
- Content that breaks UAE law, or that is offensive, misleading or discriminatory
- Unofficial “hacks” for banking, balance checks or government services
- AI-generated or copied content that hasn’t been fact-checked and edited by a person
- Articles written only to place a link
How to submit a guest post
- Email us at contact@uaeguides.ae with the subject line “Guest Post: [Your Topic]”, or choose Guest post in the contact form.
- Include your proposed title, a short outline, and 2 or 3 links to your published work.
- If we like your idea, we’ll confirm the topic before you start writing.
- Send the final article in a Google Doc or Word file, with any images you own or have the rights to use.
We review every pitch, but we can only reply to ideas we’d like to publish, usually within 5 to 7 working days. We may edit accepted articles for clarity, accuracy, length and style, and we decide on final publication.
What We Can’t Help With
UAE Guides is an independent information website. We are not a government authority, bank, exchange house or transport operator, so we can’t:
- Check your bank, salary card or Nol card balance for you
- Access, block, unblock or replace any card or account
- Process applications, payments, refunds or registrations
- Track your salary, visa, fine or government application
- Give personal legal, financial or immigration advice
For these, please contact the organisation directly:
| If you need help with | Contact |
| FAB account or Ratibi salary card | First Abu Dhabi Bank customer care: 600 52 5500 (Ratibi: 600 52 2298) |
| LuLu Exchange salary card | LuLu Exchange: 600 522 204 |
| Nol card, metro, bus or parking | Roads and Transport Authority (RTA): 800 9090 |
| Late salary or labour complaint | Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE): 600 590000 |
| Any other bank card | The customer care number on the back of your card |
| Public holidays and government services | The UAE Government portal, u.ae |
Our guides to NBAD balance inquiry, Lulu balance check and Nol card balance check explain the official ways to do these tasks yourself.
Keep Your Details Safe
Never send us sensitive personal information. Please don’t include any of the following in emails, forms or comments:
- Bank card numbers, CVV codes or PINs
- One-time passwords (OTPs)
- Emirates ID, passport or visa numbers
- Usernames or passwords for any account
UAE Guides will never ask for these details, and no one from our team will call, message or WhatsApp you asking for them. If someone claiming to be from UAE Guides does, it’s a scam. Please report it to your bank and, if needed, to the police in your emirate.
Before You Write
You might find your answer faster in one of our guides:
- UAE public holidays for 2026 and 2027 dates
- Online ATM balance inquiry for free ways to check your bank balance
- Fazaa card for eligibility, benefits and sign-up
Thank you for helping us keep UAE Guides accurate and useful for everyone.
